  • BUILDING PERMITS - CHARGED ON ESTIMATED COST OF DEVELOPMENT: 
     RESIDENTIAL  -  $30.00 FOR FIRST $1,000.00, ADDITIONAL $5.00 FOR EVERY $1,000.00 AFTER
     COMMERCIAL - $80.00 FOR FIRST $1,000.00, ADDITIONAL $5.00 FOR EVERY $1,000.00 AFTER

  • STORMWATER PERMITS – $100.00-RESIDENTIAL    $400.00-COMMERCIAL

  • PLUMBING/ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL PERMITS – MINIMUM OF $30.00

  • COMMERCIAL ELECTRIC PERMITS – fees vary depending on services provided - inspected by State Inspector

  • WATER FEES – Based upon smallest size & within city limits
      
      Water tap connection fee                     $ 32.00  Locations outside City Limits are an additional $150
      Water meter fee (3/4”)                           175.00  Paving cuts additional based on meter size
      Water service fee 1” (3/4 meter)    393.00

  • SEPTIC SYSTEM  FEES – calculated on value of cost + $8.00 for County inspection fee

  • LAND USE PERMITS – The following fees are hereby imposed for matters pertaining to zoning & land use:

      Preliminary plat filing fee  $ 100.00
      Additional fee for each property owner entitled to notice          $ 3.00
      Subdivision application replat    $ 50.00
      Amended plat application filing fee    $ 50.00
      Final Plat fee   $ 100.00
      Administrative Plat fee (by Director)  $ 50.00
      Planned Unit Development (plus notification)   $ 250.00
      Special permit fee (plus notification)  $ 100.00
           
  • MISC. PERMITS:

    Fence & Sign – calculated same as residential building permits

    Roofing – calculated same as residential or commercial building permits

    Certificate of Occupancy - $100.00 if a building permit was not issued

    Demolition Permits – flat $30.00 – Requires a $5,000.00 Contractor Bond & Asbestos Report

    Private Well Permit – flat $30.00

    Temporary Sign Permit – flat $20.00

    Construct, Excavation, or Obstruction of the Public Right-of-Way Permit – no fee

    Tree Planting or Removal Permit – no fee

 

  • INSPECTION FEES (Building/Electrical/Plumbing/Mechanical, etc)
    If a permit was pulled – no charge
    If no permits were pulled - $25.00 per inspection
