A donor form can be filled in, printed out and mailed with your pledges and contributions. Beginning in 2004, the Scottsbluff Public Library Board and staff began to study the Library's space problem. For more information, please click on "Building Study" in the upper right corner of this page. Drawings and site plans from the Leo A. Daly architectural firm's feasibility study are available on our site. The updated site plan shows the two-phased building program approved by the City Council in 2006. Virginia Cassell's book "The Saga of the Dirty Thirties" is still available. In her introduction Virginia explains the reason for the book. "We, the children of the Great Depression, now living in the Nebraska panhandle, wish to share our experiences that are etched in our memories like footprints in the drifting sand of the ‘Dirty Thirties’." Virginia is donating profits from the sale of the book to the Scottsbluff Public Library Building Fund. Please contact the Library (308-630-6250) if you would like to purchase a copy. Book Clubs
