State and Federal Documents

The Scottsbluff Public Library has been a depository for federal documents since 1925.  The library is also a state document depository.  Come in and check our collection.

An increasing amount of both federal, state and local government information is available on the Internet. The links listed below are good places to start your search. For more federal information, check our library's selected list of United States documents on the Internet, or search using FirstGov, Google's U. S. Government Search or, for kids, Ben's Guide. Look for Nebraska state documents here.

"The Federal Response to Hurricane Katrina, Lessons Learned" is now available online.

Federal documents are available for purchase at http://bookstore.gpo.gov

For more information please ask at the Information Desk or call at 308-630-6250.

"The salvation of the state is watchfulness in the citizen" - Hartley Burr Alexander, inscribed above the north entrance of the Nebraska State Capitol.
