The Development Services Department helps preserve, protect and enhance the community's quality of life while maintaining its unique character.  We strive to ensure quality growth and developments that will promote the values and goals of the City of Scottsbluff.  Our main goal is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of our residents.

We are responsible for building inspections, code enforcement, community development, current and long range planning, zoning, and permit coordination.
