Decoration of Plots

Floral Regulations:  Live flower plantings are permitted in the cemetery only on the burial space.  No flowers shall be planted in alley ways or walk ways.  Plantings must be within 10" of the marker and are not allowed if there is a flat marker in addition to the main marker.

The City is in no way responsible for the care and upkeep of floral arrangements around markers.  The Cemetery shall have authority to remove all floral designs, flowers, weeds, trees, shrubs, or herbage of any kind from the cemetery as soon as, in the judgment of the Supervisor, they become unsightly, dangerous, detrimental, or diseased, or when they do not conform to the standards maintained.  The Cemetery shall not be liable for floral pieces, baskets or frames in which or to which such floral pieces for funeral services are held in the cemetery.  The Cemetery shall not be responsible for frozen plants, or herbage of any kind, or for plantings damaged by the elements, thieves, vandals, chemicals used for fertilization, pest control, or week control, or by other causes beyond its control.  The Cemetery Supervisor reserves the right to regulate the method of decorating plots so that a uniform beauty may be maintained.  The Cemetery Supervisor reserves the right to prevent the removal of any flowers, designs, trees, shrubs, or plants, or herbage of any kind, unless he gives his consent.

Urns and Glass Containers on Cemetery Grounds:  Urns of all kinds and glass containers of all kinds are prohibited on Cemetery grounds.

Trees and Shrubbery:  Planting of any trees or shrubbery or grave plantings without approval of the Cemetery Supervisor is prohibited.
