The 23 Club is an organization which, in collaboration with the City of Scottsbluff, provides youth baseball for all Scottsbluff-area youth through age 15. The main 23 Club diamonds are a cluster of four diamonds located just north of East 29th Street between 1st Avenue and 2nd Avenue.
The fifth diamond is located just east of the other four, on the east side of 2nd Avenue. It is used for regular-season play for the 14- and 15-year-old teams, and in the photographs above and right, was being used for a Babe Ruth District tournament for 13-year-olds.
Pacific League Diamond - This diamond is used for regular season play for 7- and 8-year-old players. It has base paths much shorter than normal, and a pitching machine is used for games.
American League Diamond - This diamond is used for regular season play for 9- and 10-year old players. It also has base paths much shorter than normal.
National League Diamond - This diamond is used by 11- and 12-year-old players, and has field dimensions required for that age group by Babe Ruth baseball.
Prep Diamond - This diamond is used by 13-year-old players, and has field dimensions prescribed by major league baseball.
