The newest of Scottsbluff's parks, it was developed in 1998, in conjunction with preparations for Scottsbluff's Centennial celebration in 2001. Shown at right is a gazebo used for band concerts and other performances. |

The Park provides picnic areas, a walking path and art displays, and is handicap-accessible. | |

"A Walk in the Park" This sculpture was added to the park in 2004. It is the work of David Young of Deadwood, S.D., who holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Iowa. The statue, costing $45,000, was funded through donations from the Scottsbluff Centennial Committee and memorial donations by the families of Ray Hilderman and Bob Berggren. |
