Our next step is to renovate the concrete pond west of the Zoo, irrigate the park, and expand the wetlands within the zoo by rerouting the zoo entrance. Replacing the 75-year-old Westmoor Pool now provides a place for families of all ages to enjoy. The Parks Department also received its 16th Tree City USA award in a row. We are constantly applying for funding to renovate the ponds at Riverside Park, install irrigation, and add landscaping to our parks.
