The Wastewater Department is responsible for the operation of an activated sludge treatment plant that receives an average influent flow of 2.5 million gallons per day.  In addition to the operation of the Plant the department is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the collection system which includes approximately 90 miles of sewer lines and 750 manholes.  A Biosolids Compost operation takes place at the Plant where over 200 tons are processed on an annual basis. Along with assistance from the Transportation Department, they oversee and maintain the storm water collection system which includes 1,500 catch basins. 

 

Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
