Found Property:

If you find property and it doesn't belong to anyone you know, you may bring it to the Police Department and we will keep it until the owner can be found or 90 days.  If the property is not claimed in 90 days you may claim the property as the finder.

If you find property that can be assigned to an owner  but you don't know how to contact the owner, we will be happy to assist you in locating the owner.

Lost Property:

If you have lost property and wish help in finding that property you may call the Communication Center from the "ring down" at the station and an Incident Report will be completed by a beat officer.  This allows us to keep an eye out for the lost property.

If you have lost property and we have it, we will notify you as soon as it is identified as yours. Citizens bring lost property to the station quite often.
