Adult Programs

Book Club (monthly)
A Novel Idea Book Club meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 1:30-3:00 in the library meeting room.  All are welcome.  Independent book clubs may check out a book club packet at the circulation desk.

Adult Reading Program (annually)
The Adult Reading Program occurs for six weeks every fall and offers readers 18 years and over games, programs, guest presenters, and prizes to promote literacy and education.  

Volunteer
The Library relies on dependable and enthusiastic volunteers to assist with programs, mend damaged books, shelve books, and support our hard-working staff.  If you are interested in giving your time, please submit this form to librarydirector@scottsbluff.org or pick up a hard copy at the circulation desk.

Board Game Club
Board Game Club is an all-ages program the third Saturday of each month from 12:00-4:30. Anyone is welcome to join in the meeting room at the library to try out new board games, or enjoy old favorites. No registration or library card necessary.

Seed Library (seasonal)
Take a seed, leave a seed! Patrons may take up to 6 packets of seeds free of charge. Each packet has enough seeds for 3-5 herb,  flower, or vegetable plants. The library also welcomes seed donations to keep the seed library stocked.

Genre Starter Kits

Want to try an unfamiliar genre, or find something new in a genre you already love? Check out one of our NEW Genre starter kits for adults! Each kit contains four books from a specific genre (Western, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Romance, Historical Fiction, Mystery, and Thriller) as well as an informational brochure, treats, and a small gift, all in a genre bag.
