Check Out
The library offers a wide variety of print materials, audiobooks, DVD's, CD's, puzzles, and board games available for check out.

Interlibrary Loan
Can't find what you're looking for?  We are happy to borrow a copy from another cooperating library for just the cost of postage.  Ask for an interlibrary loan request at the circulation desk. 

Reference
Assistance or instruction with using the library, including locating materials, using the library catalog, using computers to access information, and using basic reference sources.
Assistance identifying library materials needed to answer a question.
Providing brief, factual answers to questions, such as addresses, statistics, phone numbers, etc. that can be quickly located.

Print/Copy/Fax
Prints and copies are 15 cents per page for black and white, or 50 cents per page for color. Fax costs $1 per page, the library provides a cover sheet for no additional cost.

Public Computers
You will need a library card to use an public computer. There is no charge for a first library card, and the library does not charge for non-resident cards.  Replacement cards are $1.00.  Anyone accessing the Internet via the library's network is expected to comply with Lied Scottsbluff Public Library's Internet Policy as written and adopted by the Library Board and approved by the Scottsbluff City Council. 

Wireless Internet Access
The library offers wireless internet access for users with their own wireless-enabled equipment. Anyone accessing the Internet via the library's network is expected to comply with Lied Scottsbluff Public Library's Internet Policy as written and adopted by the Library Board and approved by the Scottsbluff City Council. 

Mobile Print
You can now print from your own device--cell phone, tablet, or even home computer--and pick up your prints at the circulation desk. 

Public Notary
A public notary is typically available Monday-Friday.  Please bring a current photo ID and the unsigned document to be notarized.

Tax Forms
Tax forms are available for no charge.

Voter Registration
Voter registration forms and other election information can be found through either Scotts Bluff County or the State of Nebraska, including registration forms that can be printed and mailed.

Self-Check Out
The library has two self-check stations so you can check out your selections yourself. The self-check machines are located close to the inside doors of the main entrance.

Online Renewals
If you would like to check your own library records, place holds or renew materials online, choose "Catalog" on the web page menu and then "My Account." Log in with your library card number and PIN.
 
Test Proctoring
Schedule an appointment with public service staff to take an exam for school or work.

Community Room
The Jane and Chet Fliesbach Community Room may be reserved by calling or stopping in the library.  Please review the facilities use policy and submit a community room application before the event. 

Microfilm
We house microfilm from the Star-Herald.  For assistance locating articles from past issues, please call the circulation desk or email librarydirector@scottsbluff.org.

Teacher Totes 
Area teachers, early childhood educators, and homeschool instructors may notify the library of an upcoming unit on a topic, theme, or subject.  Children's services staff will gather books, audiobooks, and DVDs for teachers to pick up.  Submit a teacher tote form to dcarlson@scottsbluff.org
